A vintage ceramic vase from Isla de la Juventud in Cuba.
We can't find out much else about this pottery but it seems to date from around the 1970s.
It's a simple, handmade form with a folkloristic decor in pretty, bright colours.
Condition is fairly good, but there is a mark on the shoulder - see the last pic.
The vase is 21 cm (8") tall and weighs 700g.
The figurine is for scale and measures 8 cm (3".)
