A vintage West German Ceramic vase from the 1970s by Scheurich.
A lovely slim with elegant lines, glazed in this beautiful tawny, multi-layered glaze which is called the 'Haro' decor.
It reminds me of Abyssinian cat fur, although there is also something very edible about it.
A very striking vase that could have come straight out of the desert.
The vase is 26 cm (10") high and 10 cm (4") across the widest part. In excellent vintage condition, no cracks, chips or flakes that I have found, though there are a few tiny popped glaze bubbles - part of the character of vases from the 'Fat Lava' era.
