A vase that combines sleek sophistication of form with a playful spiral decor, set off beautifully with a pop of sunny yellow glaze on the inside.
This vase was made in 1959 by West German ceramic company Scheurich.
It is a glossy black with grey and green spirals and stands at 28 cm (11") tall.
You can see in the third photo that the glaze has a squiggle, I don't believe this is a fault but just part of the charm of this design.
There is a small fleabite at the bottom by the base as well. This vase is around 60 years old but still in fantastic condition, it would look great in any interior - modern, classic or retro.
