Larholm, Norway: Freeform Vase with Engobe Glaze and Graphic Decor
A beautiful vintage Norwegian vase by Larholm, dating from around the 1960s-70s.
This is a lovely, freeform shape that looks different from every angle and would make a striking focal piece in a variety of settings.
The decor is eye catching too, a thin layer of matte black glaze (known as 'engobe') sets off the multitude of glossy white teardrops beautifully. It is also glazed white on the inside.
In very good vintage condition, no issues, but do expect some light wear on this vintage piece - engobe glaze is very prone to marking, although there are no particular issues to point out. Do please study the photos with care.
29 cm (11") high, approx diameter at widest point 7 cm (3"). Weight is 380g
