Dümler & Breiden, West Germany: 1950s Vase 2 with Blue and Green Speckled Glaze
A vintage West German ceramic vase by Dümler & Breiden, dating from the 1950s.
A long-necked vase with flared rim and ringed at the bottom - quite an unusual kind of shape. Glazed in a turquoisy blue with mossy green speckles.
In excellent vintage condition and marked to the base 2/25, the first being the form number (this is clearly one of the first forms that Dümler & Breiden created,) the second being the height in centimetres.
The vase is 24 cm / 9.5" high and 998g in weight.
Otto the troll is just for scale and measures 8 cm (3".)
