A West German Fat Lava pottery vase by Scheurich, dating from the 1970s.
This is a very collectible form that you can find in a myriad of different glazes. I always have a row of these on my shelf and they look fantastic.
This 'Lora' glaze is my favourite though, a proper, thick, crusty fat lava glaze with bright, glossy red slashes, unbeatable for impact!
In great vintage condition, no cracks or chips. Burst glaze bubbles are a part and parcel of this decor.
16 cm (6.5") high and weighing 516g.
